Xiaomi 12 Series Global Launch: Impressive Flagships!

Xiaomi 12 series has been unveiled globally. The Chinese giants have launched their latest flagships, Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi 12 Pro. They have also announced a budget flagship, Xiaomi 12x. All devices come with top-end specifications and premium designs. Xiaomi has tried to compete directly with the S22s and iPhone 13s of the world. Here is what both devices offer:

Xiaomi 12

Xiaomi 12 specifications have been revealed officially. The display will be a 6.28″ 12-Bit OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone has a Snapdragon 8Gen1. This will be paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Furthermore, Xiaomi 12 will pack a 4500 mAh battery in a small body. It will also support 67W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging as well. In addition, it will also support 10W reverse charging. Moreover, the triple-camera setup has a main 50MP sensor that will support OIS. It will be accompanied by a 13MP ultra-wide and 5MP tele-macro sensor. The front camera will be a 32MP sensor. The stereo speakers will be sounded by Harmon Kardon. Moreover, there will be 3 color options – Gray, Purple, and Blue, as with all 3 models.

Xiaomi 12 Pro

Xiaomi 12 Pro has a 2k LTPO 6.73″ 120Hz E5 OLED display. It will also run on the Snapdragon 8Gen1. It will come with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The Pro variant will run MIUI 13 based on Android 12 like its other siblings. 12 Pro will weigh 205g and will be 8.6mm thick. For the cameras, it will don a 50MP IMX707 main with 50MP ultra-wide and 50MP 2x telephoto. The front will be a 32M snapper. It will pack a 4600 mAh battery with 120W fast wired charging support. Further, it will also support 50W wireless and 10W reverse charging.

Xiaomi 12X

The 12X is very similar to the 12. It has identical specifications minus the wireless charging support and inferior processor. But, don’t get fooled. It will have the Snapdragon 870 instead of the 8Gen1 which is a more than capable processor. Moreover, it has the same battery capacity, charging capability, and camera setup as the 12.
