Nothing started their carrier by making the nothing earphones. The company came up with some pocket-friendly earbuds with lots of features and good quality. Now, it seems that nothing is moving forward and are going to announce the Nothing Smartphone later this month. Let’s see what they have in plan
Nothing
The company was founded by the founder of OnePlus Carl Pei. The company got funded by a lot of private investors and got big very soon. It also attracted the attention of the U.S chipmaker giant Qualcomm and became their partner. They launched the Bluetooth earphones named the ear. They were good but certainly not the best on the market. However, now it seems like the company is moving towards the smartphone manufacturing part of the market.
Nothing Smartphone
Nothing is having an event on March 24. They will most likely announce their Road Map for 2022 to let everyone know where the company is headed. “What if we told you 2021 was just a warmup,” says the tagline teasing the event on their website. There have been many rumours about the Nothing phone being in development, and even a leaked photo of the CEO Carl and Qualcomm’s Christiano Amon inspecting a model has been circulating the internet.
The event page also has a Qualcomm Snapdragon logo on the bottom further confirming the fact that they might announce a smartphone there. We expect the phone to be based on a lot of the OnePlus devices as Carl Pei is involved in both companies.
Nothing wants to make a “seamless digital future” and again to make that possible, it’s inevitable that they would have to start smartphone production along with other gadgets like tablets and laptops.
