Xiaomi has made a tradition to launch Lite versions of almost all of their new series of smartphones. According to reports and renders, Xiaomi is working on the Xiaomi Mi 12 Lite and the renders have been exposed along with leaked specifications.
Xiaomi Mi 12 Lite
The Mi 12 Lite looks like it is a hybrid of the Xiaomi Civi and the Mi 12 Series. Coming to the specifications, we see that the device is equipped with a 6.55″ 3D curved OLED display with a resolution of 1080×2400. A refresh rate of 120Hz can also be seen as well as an under-display fingerprint sensor. Moreover, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778. On the camera side of things, we see a triple camera setup with a main 64MP Samsung sensor. The specifications for the other two sensors remain unknown for now.
However, as we all know Xiaomi loves rebranding their devices so this device might be a rebranded Xiaomi Civi with only a few changes made to the design. Even most of the leaked features like lack of OIS and stereo speakers.
Another new smartphone concept by Xiaomi was the Xiaomi 12 Zoom edition. The device was expected to get come great zooming capabilities. It is sad to see that Xiaomi has trashed the idea entirely.
Price & Launch Date
It is speculated that the device will launch alongside the Xiaomi 12 Series in March while the price as always remains unknown.
