Motorola reportedly has been working on a smartphone with a 194MP camera. The new smartphone is not yet official but appears here and there through leaks. Today. images, as well as specifications of the Motorola 194MP Camera Smartphone, have been leaked.

Today, the well-known tipster Evan Blass has bought in some spicy leaks as well as HD images of the device. Let’s see what is Motorola planning with such a high number.
Specifications
The device is codenamed Frontier. It is speculated that the device will coupe the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 plus SoC. The chipset which this device will use isn’t even out yet. Qualcomm will commercialize the chipset later this year with TSMC’s 4nm process. Along with that, we will see around 16GB ram, and up to 512GB storage options. The display is said to be a 6.67″ FHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a hole punch in the centre. To power this beast up, a huge 4500mAh battery will be used with 125W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.
Camera
Now, the camera numbers look insane. Until now we had seen 108MP sensors but going to a primary 194MP is unbelievable. Moreover, the sensor is a large sensor measuring at 1/1.5″. It is also said to support OIS optical stabilization, which will further improve its image quality.
However, more Megapixels never mean better photos. Motorola will have to put some good optimisation to harness the full potential of the sensor, otherwise, it would be a waste and end up being a party trick.
Furthermore, there are two more sensors on the device. A 50MP wide-angle and a 12MP telephoto lens respectively.
Design
The device looks fairly simple in looks. The back looks like textured glass with the logo in the middle in a circle. The sides look shiny indicating the use of aluminium or steel. On the front, we see the bezel-less display which is curved from the right and left sides.
Price & Launch Date
The price and launch date are still unknown. This is a different approach by Motorola so nothing could be said.
