OPPO’s first-ever tablet, reportedly named OPPO Pad, is in the works. Previously, the OnePlus Pad has also been leaked. Looks like BBK is going all out for making a mark in the tablet segment. Samsung and Xiaomi are the only brands offering Android tablets. BBK seems to be determined to end their monopoly in this segment. We have learned about the expected specifications of the OPPO Pad via Twitter leaker, Tokyo OPPO Shrimp.
Expected Specifications
OPPO Pad is rumored to be powered by a Snapdragon 870 under the hood. Moreover, it will feature LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Furthermore, the display will be an 11-inch LCD panel from BOE. The resolution of the display will be 2560×1600. The battery capacity is said to be 8080 mAh. Moreover, the OPPO Pad will be featuring 33W fast wired charging support. For the cameras, the tablet from OPPO will have a single camera at the front as well as the back. The front camera will be an 8MP sensor. While the back camera will be a 13MP lens.
Furthermore, the speaker system also promises to be impressive. It is said to have a quad-speaker setup for an immersive sound experience. There will be an X-axis linear vibration system for tight and tactile haptic feedback. Lastly, the OPPO Pad is also said to have stylus support. OPPO will be releasing its stylus. It will be allegedly called O-Pen. There is information about price and availability as of now. But expect more leaks about the OPPO Pad in the coming days.
