Honor 60 SE Is Here – Spot The Difference

Honor has been a little out of touch since the Huawei ban. But they have not for one bit stopped making smartphones. They have been making the production of countless smartphones, so much so that they have run out of ideas it seems like. While other manufacturers are working day and night to come up with something new, Honor is out here doing Ctrl + C, and Ctrl + V in the design compartment. Here is everything about the Honor 60 SE.

Honor 60 SE

Honor recently launched this device. It is a budget phone. The device comes with the Dimensity 900 CPU, 8GB ram 128GB of storage. On the front, we have a 6.67” OLED screen of 120Hz refresh rate and with 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage. Its battery has a 4,300mAh capacity and it supports 66W fast charging.

Now, let’s turn the device over. On the back, we see a triple camera system, we are looking at a 2MP depth sensor and an 8MP ultrawide camera all in a “Brand New Design”. But wait, I think I have seen this “Brand New Design” somewhere. Well, I have seen this exact camera bump on every Pro iPhone that has come out in the last 3 years.

How can a company as big as Honor think they can get away with doing something like this? I mean they didn’t even try to hide it or slightly change it, Honor simply went well that is popular, let’s use it.

I think they should pay their designers something because they are clearly doing a terrible job at coming up with something brand new. Let’s leave the camera bump for a second, the device now looks like a Samsung Note from the sides! It’s like the Note 20 had a baby with the iPhone 12 Pro. What a shame.

However, some other companies like Oppo with the Find X 3 do imitate the iPhone but at least they try to change it a bit. When companies like Honor do something like this, it’s absolutely hilarious.

Well, if you want to buy the phone, it costs CNY2,199 ($345) for the 128GB, while going for the 256GB unit will set you back CNY2,499 ($390).
