At today’s launch event of Samsung Unpacked 2022, Samsung came out with the Galaxy S22 series, but that was not all. Samsung also launched the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Series consisting of the S8, the S8+, and the S8 Ultra. Here is everything about the beasts.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8
The android tablet market has always struggled against the iPad, but it seems like this may be a worthy opponent. This Tab S8 is a successor to the previous generation of S7 tabs.
Specifications
The Galaxy Tab S8 comes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Along with that, we see that the tab packs 8GB of Ram and up to 256GB of fast storage. On the front, we see a huge 11″ AMOLED Display, with a 120Hz Refresh Rate. No notches or cutouts here. To power it all we have an 8,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
Camera
There is a dual-camera setup on this tablet. We see 12MP ultrawide selfie cameras and 13MP main and 6MP ultrawide shooters on the back.

On the front, Tab S8+ boasts a 12.4inch Super AMOLED with 2800 x 1752px resolution and also refreshes up to 120Hz. To power it all we have a 10,900mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra
The S8 Ultra is the top of the line model in the tablet category. It has the best specifications and is more expensive

The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra comes with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Along with that, we see that the tab packs a huge 16GB of Ram and up to 512GB of fast storage. On the front, we see a huge 14.6″ with a 2960x1848px resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR AMOLED Display, but with a little notch at the front. And finally to power, it all has an 11,200mAh battery with 45W fast charging.
Camera
There is a dual-camera setup on this tablet in the front as well as on the back. The front cams also support up to 4K video recordings this time around. The rear houses a 13MP main cam alongside a 6MP ultrawide snapper.
Features
All the tablets support the S-pen which now has low latency. It is a perfect rival to the Apple Pencil for the iPad. We also see a quad-speaker system to support Dolby Atmos. You can also get the magnetic keyboard case that transforms your tab into being more like a laptop.
