OPPO has recently launched the Reno 7 series in India. This means we are also nearing the launch of the OPPO Reno 7 in Pakistan. The variants launched in India are extremely well-rounded midrange devices. However, don’t get your hopes up just yet. OPPO Pakistan has been disappointing us with previous Reno series launches. With the Reno 6 series, they just rebranded the Reno 5 as the Reno 6. Whereas, the global Reno 6 was a thing of beauty.
I expect OPPO Pakistan to have listened to the Pakistani consumers. They received severe backlash on the Reno 6 from tech reviewers and sales didn’t go well. Let’s hope we get the Reno 7 series with the same value they have offered globally. Otherwise, they will lose their place in the midrange market. With Xiaomi, Realme, and Samsung offering great devices in the mid-tier segment, OPPO needs to deliver with the Reno 7 series. Here is what OPPO has launched in India:
OPPO Reno 7
The vanilla Reno 7 comes with a 6.43″ AMOLED 90Hz display. It has a density of 409ppi and has a 180Hz touch sampling rate. The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset. Moreover, it packs a 4500 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support. For the cameras, it has a 64MP main Omnivision sensor. It is accompanied by 8MP and 2MP lenses. In addition, the front selfie shooter is a 32MP Sony sensor. Lastly, the device is 7.45mm thin and weighs 171g.
OPPO Reno 7 Pro
Reno 7 Pro comes with a 6.55″ AMOLED 90Hz display. It has a 180Hz touch sampling rate and 920 nits peak brightness. Furthermore, the device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. It is only 7.45mm thin and weighs 180g. Reno 7 Pro comes with a flat edge design. Moreover, it comes with a 4500 mAh battery and 65W charging support. For the camera, it has a main 50MP IMX766 sensor. It is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP lens. On the front, there is a 32MP IMX709 Cat Eye lens.
