OPPO Find X5 Pro renders had been leaked by Steve Hemmerstoffer via Prepp. OPPO launches its flagship Find X series in the early months of the year. Find X3 series debuted in March 2021. The Chinese manufacturer plans to launch its next alleged flagship OPPO Find X5 series in Q1 2022. Find X3 successor will be named Find X5 because the number 4 is not considered a good omen in China.
Now real-life images have also been leaked. These images reveal that the Hasselblad branding isn’t limited to OnePlus only. OPPO will be collaborating with Hasselblad for the Find X5 series. Moreover, the images confirm the irregular-shaped camera module. MariSilicon X, the in-house imaging NPU, will be used in the device.
Expected Specifications
Now considering the latest leaks, OPPO’s next flagship will only be an incremental update. All the specifications are just a level up from last year, no drastic changes are reported as of now. Snapdragon 8Gen1 will be used to power the Find X5 Pro. Other specifications for the pro model include a 6.78″ E4 OLED screen from Samsung. Bezels are expected to be very minimal. Moreover, the display will be a 2K resolution screen with LTPO 2.0 technology and 10-bit color depth.
In addition to this beautiful display, the phone will feature a Gorilla Glass Victus back with an aluminum alloy frame wrapping around it. Battery capacity will be around 5000 mAh with insane 80W wired and 50W wireless charging speeds. The phone is said to support 80W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Find X5 Pro will have 8 gigs of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 gigs of UFS 3.1 storage for the base model. Lastly, the phone is expected to have a linear X-axis vibration motor and dual stereo speakers. It will also have an in-display fingerprint sensor, NFC, and an IR blaster too.
Camera Specifications
Furthermore, the Find X5 series is said to have a top-end camera setup. OPPO will be collaborating with Hasselblad for Find X5’s camera system. The front camera will be a 32MP Sony IMX709 sensor. For the back cameras, it will sport a Sony IMX766 50MP primary camera which will be OIS enabled. In addition, it will also have a Sony IMX766 50MP ultrawide freeform anti-distortion lens and a Samsung S5K3M5 13MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.
Pricing
The leaked price is 4499 yuan for the 8GB+256GB model, 4999 yuan for the 12GB+256GB, and lastly, 5499 yuan for the 12GB+512GB configuration.
