Xiaomi has teased the global launch of its 12 series on Twitter. Last year, they teased the Mi 11 series in the same manner. They tweeted on January 29 and launched the Mi 11 series on February 8. This time it is a bit earlier. We can expect the Xiaomi 12 series to launch globally in the next 10-12 days. It is not known whether we will see all three models or not. Nevertheless, here are the specifications of all three models.
Xiaomi 12
Xiaomi 12 is the compact flagship option by the Chinese brand. The display will be a 6.28″ 12-Bit OLED display. The phone has a Snapdragon 8Gen1. This will be paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Furthermore, Xiaomi 12 will pack a 4500 mAh battery in a small body. It will also support 67W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging as well. In addition, it will also support 10W reverse charging. Moreover, the triple-camera setup has a main 50MP sensor that will support OIS. The stereo speakers will be sounded by Harmon Kardon. Moreover, there will be 3 color options including a vegan leather option. The base variant is priced at CNY 3699.
Xiaomi 12 Pro
Xiaomi 12 Pro has a 2k LTPO 6.73″ 120Hz E5 OLED display. It will also run on the Snapdragon 8Gen1. It will come with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The Pro variant will run MIUI 13 based on Android 12 like its other siblings. 12 Pro will weigh 205g and will be 8.6mm thick. For the cameras, it will don a 50MP IMX707 main with 50MP ultra-wide and 50MP 2x telephoto. The front will be a 32M snapper. It will pack a 4600 mAh battery with 120W fast wired charging support. Further, it will also support 50W wireless and 10W reverse charging. The base 8+128 model starts at CNY 4699.
Xiaomi 12X
The 12X is very similar to the 12. It has identical specifications minus the wireless charging support and inferior processor. But, don’t get fooled. It will have the Snapdragon 870 instead of the 8Gen1 which is a more than capable processor. The base model is priced at CNY 3199.
