Xiaomi’s 2021 was surely a successful year for the company. The Chinese giants captured the Pakistani market by offering great phones at even better prices. At the time when every other company halted their launches due to increasing dollar rates, Xiaomi still managed to deliver. They were the most talked about brand in Pakistan without a doubt. Pakistani consumers love value for money phones and Xiaomi catered to their demands. Let’s take a recap of some of Xiaomi’s best smartphone launches in 2021 in Pakistan:
Xiaomi Redmi 9T
Redmi 9T was their budget offering in 2021. It packed a huge 6000 mAh battery with 18W charging support. Moreover, it featured a 6.53″ display with a waterdrop notch. 9T had a quad-camera setup at the back; 48MP Main + 8MP UW+2MP Macro +2MP Depth sensor. The phone arrived with Snapdragon 662, which performed fairly well considering the price. It was surely a hit in its price segment.
Redmi 10
Redmi 10 was another popular budget phone from Xiaomi. It had a 90Hz 6.5″ FHD+ display with a punch-hole selfie camera. For the processor, Redmi 10 had a MediaTek Helio G88. It also had a quad-camera setup; 50MP Main + 8MP ultra-wide camera + 2MP macro camera + 2MP depth camera. Lastly, the budget phone had a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. In addition, it also had 9W reverse charging support.
Redmi Note 10 Series
Redmi Note 10 series was the best-selling series by Xiaomi this year. It offered great value for a mid-range smartphone. Premium design with glass back, 120Hz OLED display and great battery life were the highlights of the Redmi Note 10 Pro.108MP main camera, 120Hz OLED panel, stereo speakers, IP53 splash resistance were the outstanding features never seen before. These features on the Pro model made it hard to resist buying it. Redmi Note 10S and Redmi Note 10 5G also came with similar premium designs and features. Each one of these three had a feature never before seen in that price. For example, 5G on a budget device in the form of Note 10 5G.
Xiaomi 11 Lite & 11 Lite 5G NE
11 Lite was another great mid-range phone. It arrived with a premium and sleek design. The phone had a 10-bit OLED 90Hz display which measured 6.55″. The symmetrical bezels on the front made it look more premium. Furthermore, the phone was only 6.81mm thin. Snapdragon 723G was used in the 4G variant. Overall, it was a great phone with a premium in-hand feel.
11 Lite received a refresh with 5G and a new upgraded processor. The 11 Lite NE 5G had a Snapdragon 778G. It brought huge performance boosts for the device. The market needed a competitor for the Galaxy A52 and Xiaomi delivered the 11 Lite NE.
Xiaomi 11T & 11T Pro
Xiaomi ended the year with its flagships. 11T and 11T Pro had everything a flagship has with an even lower price. 11T had a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. Moreover, it had a 120Hz OLED 6.67″ screen with a punch-hole for the selfie shooter. The camera setup had a 108MP main sensor which performed very well. Furthermore, the 11T had a 5000 mAh battery with 67W charging support.
11T Pro had some upgrades over its sibling. It arrived with the Snapdragon 888 chipset. In addition, it had a similar display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision. Another major upgrade was the charging speed. The 5000 mAh battery could be charged at 120W by the in-box 120W charger. Both these phones were flagships in their true sense.
