Xiaomi 12 renders have been exclusively leaked by Evan Blass. He has revealed 3 colorways for the Xiaomi 12. There is a matte silver, matte blue with a metallic hue, and a green vegan leather finish. All three colors look muted and professional. The renders also confirm the design from the front. The front is a 6.28″ curved screen with a centered punch-hole cutout for the selfie shooter.
Launch Date
The Chinese Brand is planning to launch its Xiaomi 12 series in late December. Digital Chat Station on Weibo confirmed the launch date. Another account on Weibo leaked an internal document confirming the launch date. According to the leaked document, Xiaomi 12 series will debut on the 28th of December. Digital chat station also revealed that Xiaomi will not be the first company to use Qualcomm’s latest chip. This leads us to believe that the latest Qualcomm processor will be debuted by Motorola. So, we can expect Moto Edge X to be revealed before Xiaomi’s flagship series.
Specifications
Xiaomi 12 specifications have also been leaked ahead of the official launch. The phone will come with a Snapdragon 8Gen1. This will be paired with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Furthermore, Xiaomi 12 will pack a 4500 mAh battery in a small body. It will also support 67W fast wired charging and 33W wireless charging as well. Moreover, for the cameras, it will sport a main 50MP sensor that will support OIS. In addition to the main sensor, it is also said to come with a 13MP ultrawide and a 3X optical zoom camera.
According to these leaks, the Xiaomi 12 is set to become a fierce competitor to the compact flagships of the world. Namely, iPhone 13 and 13 mini, and the Samsung Galaxy S22. It doesn’t come with any trade-offs. Not in the battery department, the display, charging speeds, or even the cameras.
