iQOO Neo 5S and iQOO Neo 5 SE will debut on the 20th of December. Digital Chat Station on Weibo has confirmed that we are going to see iQOO’s new devices on the coming Monday. Both phones are set to pack some high-end features at a fairly low price. iQOO has officially teased the designs of the phones. However, their specifications are also out. Thanks to leakers, they have left nothing to the imagination.

iQOO Neo 5S

The Neo 5S will feature the Snapdragon 888 chipset. Now, the heating issues in Snapdragon 888 phones are already known. Therefore, iQOO will use a heat dissipation system to cope with that. Furthermore, the display will be a 6.56″ OLED 120Hz BOE screen with 10-bit color. For the cameras, the main sensor on the back will be a 48MP Sony IMX598 sensor with OIS. The other two lenses may include an ultra-wide-angle lens and a macro lens. Moreover, it will also feature a ‘Display Pro Chip” which helps reduce the rendering burden on GPU while performing graphic-intensive tasks such as gaming. Lastly, Neo 5S will feature a 4500 mAh battery with 66W wired charging support.

For color options, we are going to get two choices; orange and grey. Both will have a matte finish. The expected pricing is 2999 yuan for the 8GB+128GB model and 3499 yuan for the 12GB+256GB configuration.

iQOO Neo 5 SE

iQOO Neo 5 SE will be revealed alongside the Neo 5S. A poster reveals that the phone will feature a Snapdragon 870 chipset. The Neo 5 SE will sport a 144Hz display. We can expect an IPS display on the Neo 5 SE. However, an OLED screen would be a pleasant surprise. It will also support 55W wired fast charging.

The device will have a triple-camera setup. Moreover, it will be launching in three color options; Navy Blue, White, and a gradient sky blue and pink finish. But, official names for the different colors are not yet confirmed. Both the Neo 5S and Neo 5 SE will run OriginOS Ocean based on Android 12 out of the box.
