Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has been leaked to its full by Steve Hemmerstoffer aka OnLeaks several months ago. It was supposed to launch around October but that didn’t happen. Due to the global chip shortage issue, Galaxy S21 FE was delayed. Even reports claimed that it had been scrapped entirely.
But, the smartphone kept on appearing on various certification sites hinting at an imminent launch. The Galaxy S21 FE is now supposed to be announced on the 4th of January 2022 according to the reliable tipster, Jon Prosser. That could be true considering his track record.
Latest Updates On S21 FE Launch
Now, even in-hand images, official renders by Samsung and even the box has been leaked. Snoopy Tech has revealed the S21 FE 5G box. Which reveals a white box with some fun emojis embossed and the ‘S’ branding upfront. It also reveals that S21 FE may come without a charger considering its thin stature.
A Twitter user, Abhishek Soni, has even leaked hands-on images. The images are of the black variant of the phone revealing its design from front and back. The phone has a plastic back, slim bezels, 120Hz display, aluminum frame and lacks a headphone jack.
On top of all this, Samsung itself accidentally put up an S21 FE page on its website which is now removed. So essentially, there is nothing more left to know about the phone except its price.
So, all of this hints that we are going to be getting the S21 FE soon in our hands.
Why It’s Too Late Now?
In my opinion, Samsung will not launch it in many markets. As the S22 series is set to launch a month after the S21 FE so it might hinder the vanilla S22 sales. S21 FE would have been perfect if it launched in October. It could have been the best value smartphone of the year. However, it’s Samsung and they can launch it now even if it doesn’t make sense. But, if they want it to be successful now they need to price it right. In addition, they need to have something special up their sleeves for the vanilla S22. Otherwise, it won’t sell well. Exciting times are ahead for everyone.
