Almost all the big flagship companies have kickstarted their next flagship productions with the release of the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. So, Xiaomi has done the same. The next big flagship from Xiaomi is going to be the Xiaomi 12. It will likely get the new SD8G1 and all that. However, the designs have been exposed, and they don’t look very “new”. The bump is back and exposed with a full heart. Here is everything we know about the Xiaomi 12.
Xiaomi 12 Design Exposed
According to the Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi is currently thinking of releasing the Xiaomi 12X, Xiaomi 12, and the Xiaomi 12 Pro at the same event. However, the renderings of one of the devices, likely the Xiaomi 12 got exposed on the internet and spread like a wildfire.
The design language resembles the Xiaomi Civi a lot. Moreover, the front screen design of both phones is almost identical, with a double-curved and a centred hole design with very narrow bezels. Furthermore, the back of the device is also similar. We see the huge circular lens on top, with 3 smaller lenses in the bottom. The Xiaomi Civi has the same huge lens but with 2 smaller lenses. The rear shell also uses the same AG frosting process as Xiaomi Civi. It can effectively avoid fingerprints and scratches.
Leaked Specifications
Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro will be equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen1 processor. The display will be a 6.7 inches, 2K resolution, 120Hz AMOLED. The Pro version will add an extra telephoto lens supporting 5x optical zoom and maybe a bigger battery. The pro model will also get the improved Samsung 108MP sensor. Other than that, we see primary 50MP cameras and up to 120W fast charging speeds.
According to Xiaomi president, Zeng Xuezhong; the Xiaomi 12 has an important breakthrough in photography, he says, it has the fastest capture, the most accurate focus, and the strongest night mode. Lei Jun from the company has also repeatedly emphasised that Xiaomi 12 has got the new generation of Snapdragon 8 months in advance so they have perfected the device with the performance.
