Nubia which is generally known for its gaming phones is coming back. Nubia launching 3 flagship devices using the new Snapdragon 8 gen 1 SoC. The first smartphone to use this processor will come from either Motorola or Xiaomi. However, Nubia and Motorola are not going to fall behind.
Nubia Launching 3 Flagships
Recent leaks and reports pointed towards Nubia preparing for 3 new flagships. These smartphones come with model numbers NX679J, NX701J, and NX709J as per the leaks. Further, the NX67J will be named Nubia Red Magic 7. The NX701J is dubbed as the Nubia Z40, another flagship series. The NX709J is the Red Magic 7 Pro.
Moreover, there is another model number in the leaked document that reads NX907J which is named the Nubia M2 Play. There isn’t much information about that phone but we assume it might be a budget gaming device from Nubia.
The Red Magic 7 pro is expected to come with a huge 5500mAh battery, quad-camera setup, the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor at least 18GB ram and more features than ever. There is another rumour going around regarding it getting a 1TB storage option, but these will be confirmed as the launch nears.
The Reg Magic 7 on the other hand will also get a new chipset with a slightly better camera module. The battery capacity here will not be seeing a massive increase but instead slight improvements overall. The storage options will now max out at 512GB instead of the current 256GB. Ram will be increased from 12GB to 16GB.
The UI and software will be more polished and be based on android 12, and more performance supporting features will be seen. This shows that Nubia and the ZTE brand is cooperating very well with Qualcomm. Even if Nubia is not the brand to debut the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, it should appear in the first batch of models.
We should expect a launch in early 2022. What did you guys think about Nubia Launching 3 flagships? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
