Samsung just announced its latest offering in the budget segment. The Korean brand introduced A03 that succeeds A03S and A03 Core that was announced earlier. Samsung Galaxy A03 is the sequel to A02 that was released in January 2021.
Samsung Galaxy A03’s backplate looks to be inspired by iPhone 11. It has a similarly designed camera module that houses two lenses and a flash. The front display has a waterdrop notch for the selfie shooter. The build material is all plastic with glass on the front. The type of glass used is not specified. It will come with what looks like a textured matte back from the official renders. Moreover, Galaxy A03 will come in three basic colors; blue, red, and black. The dimensions of the phone measure 164.2 x 75.9 x 9.1mm.
The Galaxy A03 has a 5000 mAh battery but the charging speed is not mentioned by Samsung. In addition, the phone also has Dolby Atmos support. Samsung’s budget phone has a 6.5″ HD+ Infinity-V display with a notch for the 5MP selfie shooter. On the back, the dual-camera array includes a 48MP primary and a 2MP depth sensor. Moreover, Galaxy A03 has an unnamed octa-core processor with two clusters having 1.6GHz maximum clock speed. It will arrive in three configurations – 3GB/32GB, 4GB/64GB, and 4GB/128GB.
Overall, this sequel offers some upgrades mainly in the camera department over its predecessor. Samsung Galaxy A03 is a basic entry-level smartphone targeted at those users who are tight on budget and want the Samsung experience.
