Vivo V23e 5G has officially launched in Thailand. It is a successor to V21e which was launched in June this year. The V23e 5G brings some upgrades over its predecessor in the performance and camera department mainly.
Design And Colors
Vivo has been persistently using more or less the same design language for most of its smartphones. Honestly, they have gotten a bit boring for me. However, there is also a positive for Vivo in using similar designs. They have managed to build recognition among people. Everyone can tell by looking at the smartphone if it is a Vivo phone. V23e 5G has a similar rectangular camera bump which is pretty generic. On the front, there is a similar notched display with noticeable bezels. It has been launched in two colors, ‘Black’ and ‘Sunshine Coast’.
Specifications
The phone weighs 172g and the dimensions of the phone are 160.9 x 74.3 x 7.4 mm. The display up front is a 6.44″ OLED display with an FHD+ resolution and an in-display fingerprint scanner. For the cameras, V23e 5G has three sensors on the back. Which include a 50MP main wide-angle lens with an aperture of f/1.8. It is accompanied by 8MP ultrawide and 2MP macro lenses. Moreover, it has a 44MP selfie shooter in the waterdrop notch that can shoot up to 4k@30fps. Vivo V23e 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chipset which is based on 6nm architecture. This is one of the major upgrades over its predecessor as the V21e 5G had the Dimensity 700 5G. The battery capacity is 4050 mAh which charges by 44W fast charging. In addition, Vivo V23e 5G runs on Funtouch OS 12 based on Android 11.
Who Is The Vivo V23e 5G Targeted At?
Vivo is known to be a camera-focused brand. They emphasize on the looks and cameras of their smartphones. That is why they have used a 44MP sensor on the front for better selfies. Consequently, they had to use a notch on the front. Well, at least that is what my theory is about Vivo not using punch-hole designs in this kind of devices. But they have provided an OLED panel for compensation. The 50MP sensor on the back will presumably perform very well considering Vivo’s record. So anyone who is into cameras and wants a phone with good looks can consider V23e 5G. Not to mention it also has a powerful and efficient processor which can provide more than satisfactory performance.
