Xiaomi is already working on new devices with the Dimensity 2000 & Dimensity 9000 chipsets. One of the devices is speculated to be Xiaomi POCO F4 GT or Redmi K50. The other device is the budget version of the K50, China only. They have the codenames of Matisse and Rubens.
Xiaomi POCO F4 GT (Matisse)
This is the top of the line device in the Redmi K50 series. It will be rebranded as the POCO F4 GT. Supported by leaks, the device will be powered by the Dimensity 9000 processor. The model number is L10 and the codename is Matisse, while the market name of this device is expected to be Redmi K50 Gaming Pro.
Looking at the model numbers, we can clearly see the 21121210C model number is for China, the 21121210I model number is for India and the 21121210G model number for the Global market. Matisse is expected to be launched in December 2021.
Specs
The device is expected to come with the Dimensity 9000 SoC and a 144Hz AMOLED Display. There is four back camera sensor information in Mi Code. And according to this sensor information, we can say that it will come with a quad-camera setup. It will have a 64MP Sony sensor as the main camera, a 13MP sensor at wide-angle, an 8MP sensor as macro, and finally a 2MP sensor as a depth sensor. There is also a version of this device with a 108MP sensor.
Redmi K50 Standard (Rubens)
This will be a china only budget type device. Not much info is leaked about this one. The device will come with a Dimensity 7000. The main camera will have the same resolution camera as the pro model, but the sensors will be different. It will also be a triple camera setup.
Launch Date
According to a string of leaks and rumours. We expect both devices to be introduced in April 2022, like the K40 Gaming series.
