Samsung clearly wants to come on par with Apple’s iPad in this tablet game. Even by launching great tablets, Samsung can’t seem to shake the market for Apple. This time they are once again going all out with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series. They have interestingly gone for a more controversial design, one that they trolled Apple the most for.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Series

If the rumours around the internet prove to be true, the Galaxy Tab S8 series will feature three models. The lineup will include the Galaxy Tab S8, the Tab S8+, and the best of all, Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra.

According to leaks by IceUniverse, the line-up will have the notch to carry the dual front camera sensors. This leak has also been confirmed by multiple other sources so there is a high chance of it being true. By leaks and renders, it can be said that the bezels will be slim and the notch is also smaller but in my opinion, it looks annoying. IceUniverse says, “It is equipped with two front cameras, including ultra-wide-angle cameras, which can shoot 4K 60fps.”

Specifications

Furthermore, the Tab S8 Ultra will sport a rectangular screen. Aside from that, it will feature an under-display fingerprint sensor. Furthermore, the tablet will support Dolby Atmos sound. It will reportedly feature a 14.6-inch Super AMOLED display that provides a QHD+ (3200×1800 pixels) resolution and 251ppi pixel density. The rear panel will have a magnetic strip that holds the S Pen.

Under this case, the tablet will be getting the Snapdragon 898/Exynos 2200 with up to 12GB ram and 512GB of storage. To power up this monster, it will use an 11,000mAh battery with 45w fast charging. USB-C, Dolby Atomos by AKG, Wi-Fi 6 and 5G will be some of the features here.

So, what do you guys think of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8? Do you like the notch or would you rather have the hole punch? Share your thoughts in the comments below?
