Oppo Reno 7 Exposed – New Design, New Camera!

The next successor of the Oppo Reno series has been leaked by someone. The leak shows the bareback of Oppo Reno 7 exposed along with its camera system. Some specs and features have also been spotted floating around the internet.

This device by Oppo will be in the next flagship series, the Oppo Reno lineup. By the leaks, it feels like a great device in addition it looks really nice too. It will for sure catch some eyes. Without further ado, let’s get into the juicy leaks.

Design

As you can see in the reference image, the device looks beautiful. The main body of the device follows Apple’s footsteps with the iPhone 12 series. Furthermore, we see a similar style flat back, protruded camera chunk, and especially the flat shiny sides & matte back glass. However, the phone also looks considerably small which indicates this to be the base model.

The camera bump is dual coloured with 4 visible sensors. There is very minor branding, only one small logo on the right bottom of the device can be observed.

Specifications

It is expected that the device will use Dimensity 900 chipset, with 8/12GB ram and up to 256GB storage. Moreover, the device is expected to get a 6.1″ AMOLED 90Hz Display. On the other hand, the battery appears to be a smaller 4000mAh cell.

Camera

The phone is having a 64MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide, a 12MP telephoto and finally a depth/macro sensor.

In addition to that, OPPO is also working on the RGBW sensor. Along with the commercial RGBW sensors and hardware-level 5 axis anti-shake next year, OPPO is further working on RAW Plus and front-end anti-shake technology in the software side of things. We can expect big things from Oppo’s camera department.
