A new contender has stepped up in the smartphone market known as Dcode. The company is found in Pakistan with its manufacturing plant in Karachi. It is the first smartphone brand that is manufacturing flagship-level Android smartphones in Pakistan. Their top of the line variant is called the Dcode X. Here is everything you need to know.

Dcode X

Specifications

The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G95 chipset. Accompanied by up to 8GB ram and 128GB storage options. It gets a 4000mAh battery to keep everything up and running. On the front, we see a 6.67″ FHD+ LCD 60Hz Holepunch display. The phone is powered by Android 11 with a very close to stock feel.

We see a Penta camera setup, with the main 64MP. a secondary 5MP macro, a 2MP depth sensor, another 2MP monochrome sensor and finally an 8MP zoom. The front camera is 32MP.

Design

The phone is really modern looking. It resembles Samsung’s S20 Ultra from the back. Glass back and metal sides can be seen. The phone gets a hybrid sim slot on the top, with a fingerprint scanner on the side and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom. Charging brick and headphones come included.

Price

The phone costs around PKR 40,000 ($230) with one year warranty. If you were early to buy it you would receive a gift bag with many goodies like T-shirt, water bottle, car charger, keychains and more.

There are already two other products of the company known as Dcode Cypher & Dcode Bold out.

Dcode X

I think the phone is a really great device. The quality and the hand feel is premium and with the price, it really shines a lot. Being Pakistani we should support the local brands if they are providing us with nice products. So, what do you guys think of Dcode? Do you like the Dcode X?
