HBL is arguably one of the most famous banking services in Pakistan. The bank is usually known for its server problems but this time the bank has set a record. HBL online banking services go offline again and this time, it has been a record time.
HBL Online Banking Services Go Offline
Habib Bank Limited is the biggest bank in Pakistan, with 1,650+ branches, 2,100+ ATMs globally, and serving 23 million+ customers worldwide but their online banking services are easily the most cursed.
During the past month, HBL has been notifying its users about online banking service disruption every other day. The services are reportedly restored soon after, only to be down again within hours. The customers have been raging as many of the transactions have been cancelled. Not to forget hundreds of business accounts which are facing problems. Even accessing the Application isn’t possible.
Even after thousands of customers complaining there hasn’t been any official response by the bank that when the services will be restored. The only response from HBL was from an official spokesperson “Due to unanticipated high volumes of activity on our system, some of our clients may experience difficulty logging into the HBL Mobile App. HBL clients can meet their immediate cash needs from any of the more than 2,100 ATMs and 1700 Branches of HBL across the country. HBL clients can also use their HBL Debit / Credit cards for making any payments. We regret the temporary inconvenience. HBL is taking all possible steps to address the issue.”
