On September 22nd, Realme in the product launch event shared their achievement with the rest of the world. They told that Realme is the 4th largest smartphone brand in China and the 6th largest in the world.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer is now the 4th largest brand in the country. Not only that it was the fastest-growing smartphone brand. In Q2 2021, Realme ranked first in the Philippines and Bangladesh, fourth in India, and fifth in Europe. During this same period, it even managed to record a sales increase of a massive 1,006 per cent year on year in the Chinese market. This made it the fastest-growing smartphone maker in the first half of the year.
It is crazy how many milestones Realme has conquered in such a short period of time. Data record was by the known analytics-based firm. They found that Realme’s smartphone shipments reached 15 million in the second quarter of this year. This marked a mountainous 135.1 per cent increase year on year. The shipments even moved the brand into the fourth spot as a Chinese OEM and it even entered in the top 6 ranks globally for the first time ever.
Other than that, Realme’s share of 5G handsets grew from 8.8 per cent to 15.9 per cent in the second quarter. After that, they stated that the company’s next goal is to achieve a 100 Million Double by the end of 2022. By 2023, it aims to further raise the sales volume to hit 100 million units.
