GameRed announces Valorant Infinity Cup
GameRed aims to open a new chapter for Pakistan Esports. In line with the government’s initiative to make Esports industry in Pakistan. Their inaugural tournament highlighting that they are creating a multi-tournament landscape for Esports players to pursue this as a career choice. These tournaments will develop the right skill set and prepare Pakistan’s youth, to help them compete internationally. The tournament is also co-sponsored by an upcoming youth-focused brand, that wants to empower Gen-Z audiences to make lifestyle choices that reflect on their personal/professional growth aspirations.
Ms Mahnoor Nadeem, Chief Executive Officer, RDS on this occasion said “The Esports industry in Pakistan has been growing phenomenally and has great untapped potential. With GameRED, we are creating an ecosystem that will help grow the Esports industry both domestically and internationally. We will also be bringing in a host of services across broadcasting, merchandising, casting etc. to grow our domestic Esports landscape and community.”
Prize Pool
GameRED as a first step plans to conduct international tournaments in partnership with international and local sponsors. They are taking Pakistan’s name to a global stage. In partnership with Esports Players League, they bring one of the biggest prize pools of PKR 825,000 for all Esports players.
GameRed’s future plannings
GameRED says they will bring more Esports/gaming related offerings to the Pakistani market. They will also be looking to expand further into the MENA region. This initiative will be crucial in bringing Esports-as-a-Service to both public and private sectors that want to invest in the Millennial and Gen-Z audience-led space. They will initiate more stuff in the form of integrations, tournaments, merchandise, training facilities, talent development, gamification etc.
