Apple to fix iPhone 12 Speaker issues for Free
As of today, there has been a few complaints regarding the earpiece speaker facing issues or even going silent in the iPhone 12 series. After these complaints reached Apple, they confirmed by saying that a component on the handset module of these phones may malfunction, and a very small number of iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro devices may have sound problems.
They also told us that phones manufactured between October 2020 and April 2021 may have component failure. Now, those phones which get affected by this, the user will either not hear the sound when making or receiving a call.
Replying to this, Apple has started to fix iPhone 12 Speaker issues for free. This service has been started as of today. At Apple Stores or authorised retailers, your phone (If it is an iPhone 12/Pro or has a speaker problem) will get repaired for free. Apple as usual still recommends that the users should back up their data before handing in the phone for repairs.
How widespread is this issue?
Since Apple has taken notice of this, it must be quite huge? The reality is no, there has only been a few complaints. And if you have used your phone for a long time like more than a year and haven’t faced the issue, You are likely safe. But in case you do face this, Apple has got your back and will provide you with a free repair.
