Samsung also launched the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 in today’s launch. The Z Flip is a more affordable form of a foldable smartphone. And this time Samsung makes it even cheaper. It does not cut on features. The affordable phone is also water-resistant, has a secondary screen, and much more. Here is everything to know about Galaxy Z Flip3.
Samsung Z Flip 3
The Z Flip 3 is the successor to the last Z-Flip, and it has some serious improvements.
Specifications
The Samsung Z Flip 3 comes with Snapdragon 888, 8GB ram, and 128/256GB storage. The Flip 3 now has a 1.9-inch external AMOLED screen, while the internal display is a 6.7-inch, 2,640 x 1,080 AMOLED screen, but it’s now using a 120Hz adaptive panel.
The body finally offers water resistance, too. There’s an IPX8 rating good for submersion in 1.5m of water for up to 30 minutes and it is also stronger as Samsung uses “Armor Aluminum” chassis and Gorilla Glass Victus on the outside of the device.
The phone is powered by a 3,300mAh battery with 15W fast wired charging. Battery might be less compared to other phones however weight is also an important factor in foldable phones. I hope we see a bigger one in the next foldable.
New Features
Flex Mode
The New Flex Mode is a mode where you can set the phone at any angle of the fold.
Durable Body
The outer body is more durable. Samsung has launched the new Z Fold3 with Armour Almunium which will give this foldable smartphone much more durability.
Water Resistance
The Galaxy Z Flip3 is IPX8 water-resistant. Not just the Galaxy Z Fold3 but the Flip3 is also water-resistant. Previously, the foldable phones were not water-resistant. However, Samsung changed it this time.
Camera
The Z Flip 3 comes with a dual camera, a 12MP wide, and the other 12MP ultra-wide sensor. The front camera is a 10MP sensor.
