Huawei Nova 8 series went official in China last year. And after 9 months, it is hitting the global market. The Nova 8 has officially been released in Russia. It is the first global market that Nova 8 series has hit. The specifications of the Chinese Nova 8 and the new global Nova 8 remain identical. However, it comes with a 6-core Kirin 820E chipset instead of a Kirin 985 chip.
Kirin 820E is a mid-range chipset with 6-cores
At the time, 8-core chipsets are a standard. However, Huawei launched this chipset couple of months ago. It is a modified version of Kirin 820. It comes with 3 x Cortex -A76@2.22 GHz and 3 x Cortex-A55@1.84 GHz. For graphics, it has Mali-G57. The chipset is based on a 7nm process. Moreover, it supports 5G connectivity.
Huawei Nova 8 Global Version Specifications
Other than the processor, the specifications of Nova 8 remain unchanged. It comes with a 6.57-inch OLED panel with an FHD+ resolution. It has a high refresh rate of 90Hz for a buttery smooth experience. The camera module is unique with an oval shape. It houses a 64MP primary, 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, you will find a 32MP selfie shooter sitting on the punch-hole notch.
Talking about the battery, there is a small 3800mAH battery that can be fast-charged at 66W Huawei SuperCharge rapid charging technology. In the software department, the device rocks EMUI 12 based on Android 12 OS. Other notable features of the device are in-display fingerprint, dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Huawei Nova 8 Price in Russia
The Huawei Nova 8 has only a single variant in Russia. It is 8/128GB with a price tag of RUB 39,999 (~$547). Sadly, there is a single color option in Russia that is Powdery Pink.
