ZTE Axon 30 was announced a couple of days back. Now the smartphone is available to purchase in China. What makes ZTE Axon 30 special is the under-display selfie camera. It is one of the few commercially available smartphones with this feature. Although, the smartphone also has other interesting internals. There are a total of 4 variants for the Axon 30. Starting off with a 6/128GB variant, it will cost you 2,198 yuan (~$340/PKR.55K). While the 8/128GB storage model costs 2,498 yuan (~$386). Furthermore, the 8/256GB model has a price tag of 2,798 yuan (~$433). The highest-end model is 12/256GB that costs 3,098 yuan (~$479). It will be sold for a discounted price of 2,998 yuan (~$464) on the first sale.

Starting off with the display, it is a 6.92-inch AMOLED display. It has 1.07 billion colors and a screen resolution of 2460 x 1080 pixels. There are fancy features like a 120Hz refresh rate and a 360Hz screen sampling rate.
However, the highlight in the display has to be its under-display selfie camera. When turned on, the display has no visible camera, it looks totally hidden. However, when you will notice it when the display is off. According to the company, the 7-layer screen structure, special OLED, and more transparent cathodes with high-transmittance arrays create better conditions for the camera sensor.
Moving to the camera segment, the device features 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary sensor, 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 5-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth shooter. On the front, you will find a 16-megapixel selfie shooter with a size pixel size of up to 1.12um.
The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset. It has memory fusion technology that gives your device some additional RAM. If you have the 12GB memory variant of the device, you can get up to 20GB RAM with the memory fusion feature. In the software department, the device gets MyOS 11 based on Android 11. Finally, the Axon 30 has a 4,200 mAH battery that can be fast-charged at 55W.
