Everyone is excited about the next MIUI version. The latest version is MIUI 12.5 however we are all waiting for MIUI 13, as it will be the next big update. It was first rumored to come out in August with Mi Mix 4. However, Redmi brand general manager Lu Weibing has hinted at a delayed MIUI 13 launch. Sadly, it seems like MIUI 13 is delayed and we won’t see it in the August 2021 launch.
Xiaomi August 2021 launch is happening but MIUI 13 will not be revealed
According to Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi will be holding a launch event in August. We are hoping to see the flagship Mi Mix 4. The August launch may still happen, however MIUI 13 is unlikely to be revealed. Rather, the focus will be on Mi Mix 4. It will be out of the box with MIUI 12.5. It was previously rumored to come out with MIUI 13. Why is MIUi 13 delayed? Well, apparently Xiaomi’s Android overlay requires additional polishing. Even though it’s sad we will not see MIUI 13 this month, but it’s better than having a broken software experience.
MIUI 13: What to expect?
MIUI 13 is said to bring major improvements to Xiaomi smartphones. It is said to come with a new menu design, involving photography and video, health, smart home, battery, and power. Moreover, it will have a cross-screen collaboration feature with computers, flat-screen and televisions, etc. It will also unify the status bar with the system font, optimize blanks and load pages, and make dynamic and display effects smoother and more vivid than MIUI 12. In addition, MIUI 13 will be adding a more elegant design language. It will not be a square box design, but thinner.
Mi Mix 4 will be insane
Just like previous generations, Mi Mix 4 will be unusual than standard smartphones. This year we are expecting to see an under-display camera to give a notch-free experience. The good news is that the UDC of Mi Mix 4 is said to be invisible. Although, it is not 100% achievable still it will be better than we have seen in other devices. The smartphone is said to have a dual-curve display with 1080p resolution. It will also be pricy, and more expensive than Mi 11 Ultra.
