Recently, a report surfaced online hinting at Realme’s MagDart technology. It is expected to be the Chinese company’s answer to Apple MagSafe. Now, some new posters have appeared highlighting a new Realme smartphone. It is called “Realme Flash.” The leaked poster hints that the Realme Flash will have magnetic wireless charging support.

First Android smartphone with magnetic wireless charging support

The new smartphone was first teased by Realme India. The tagline of the teaser was “coming in a flash.” The new posters suggest that the name of the smartphone will be Realme Flash. It might be a new series, as we have never heard of the name before. The poster shows glimpses of the device. It is in silver color having a triple rear camera setup. On the front, a teardrop notch is visible with curved corners.

Realme Flash is said to be a flagship smartphone. It could be an expensive Realme model. According to leaked specifications, Realme Flash comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. It will come up with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Expect it to have a triple rear camera setup, and a front camera enclosed in a punch-hole notch. We expect it to have a high-end display. In the software department, expect it to have Android 11-based on Realme UI out of the box.

Realme MagDart: What do we know so far?

MagDart is magnetic charging technology developed by Realme. It is expected to launch along with Realme Flash. It will be the highlight of the device, making it the first Android device to have magnetic charging. There appear to be 2 versions of MagDart technology. One will be slimmer and the other will be bulkier. The slimmer version is said to deliver 15W magnetic wireless charging. While the bulkier version is said to be above 15W. The bulkier one will also have a fan to keep the temperature in control. It will work similarly to Apple MagSafe; you will connect Realme MagDart to the back of the phone and it will start charging.
