Recently, Windows 11 Insider Preview went live. This gave us an early view of what we can expect from the new OS. The new operating system is not a mind-blowing upgrade from the previous generation. But there is a redesign with a few features. The worst part is horrible PC requirements including the TPM 2.0 chip which your system might not have. The good news is that Deepin Linux 20.2.2 is now live and it supports Android Apps!

Microsoft believes that your system is outdated if it doesn’t have a TPM 2.0 chip. And even requires a recent generation of processors. Ironically, their own recently launched Surface does not support Windows 11 officially. If you are in that non-supported boat, you might want to try another OS. A modern Linux distribution should run on very low-end specifications as well. Plus, the new Deepin Linux 20.2.2 has a lot of improvements.

New features and improvements in Deepin 20.2.2

“In Deepin 20.2.2, a brand-new app store was released with a brand-new visual design, simplified interaction, support for Android apps, and better app management. In addition, the kernel has been upgraded to adapt to more GPUs along with upstream upgrades. Model and graphics card, the Deepin application has been updated, optimized, and repaired to provide better stability and compatibility, as well as a better user experience. More importantly, Deepin supports secure boot to ensure that the device starts trusted software and protects System security,” the Deepin development team said.

“A brand-new application store has been launched. In this version, the design is novel, the interaction is simplified, and it supports batch installation, which saves you time and greatly improves the user experience. Better content layout, optimized Classification, and rankings sorted by ratings, downloads, and update time all make it easier for users to discover different types of applications. In addition, Android containers and Android applications are also provided to meet users’ needs in work, study, and games. demand.” added the team.

According to the team, the new distribution has some amazing features. From Android apps support to better stability, you got it all. They have ensured that Deepin Control Center, Music, Album, Draw, Image Viewer, Mail, Downloader, System Installer, and Package Installer are now fixed.
