Xiaomi introduced their new rounded logo previously. The new logo grabbed a lot of attention due to its huge price tag. Xiaomi claimed that they have been working on this logo for years, and it cost 2 million Yuan. However, the logo was the same but with rounded corners. Now, the new logo has appeared on the boot section of some Xiaomi devices.
The changes to the boot interface are done in the new MIUI 12.5 version 21.6.30 update. Some devices have received the update in China. The update also removes the “MIUI” interface as well as many transitions and effects. The new update makes the boot seems buttery smooth. Below is the changelog of the new update.
System
- Fixed the phone restarting after opening the small window on the horizontal screen
Status bar, notification bar
- Optimize the logic of receiving unimportant notifications
- Fix the exception that sometimes notifications such as alarm clock reminders are not displayed
“Alive” design concept
The new logo was based on an “alive” design concept. The designer behind the new logo claims that the new logo “is not just a simple design of the shape,” but it is an “encapsulation of Xiaomi’s inner spirit.” Now, the new logo is not a big change but I have to agree with one thing; it is better than before. And thank god they didn’t change the whole look of Xiaomi’s iconic logo.
The current situation with MIUI has led many people confused if they should buy a Xiaomi smartphone. The MIUI 12.5 update is not any better. There are bugs and glitches. However, Xiaomi promises to fix bugs as quickly as possible. What is your opinion on Xiaomi’s new logo? Are you ready to see the new logo on your Xiaomi phone? Let us know in the comments below.
