Seems like Samsung isn’t done with the models of the A-series. Undoubtedly it is one of the most selling series of Samsung, and the Korean giant is constantly adding to this line-up. Now we are seeing a new device named the Samsung Galaxy A22 leaked! The device will have 2 models for 4G and 5G. With the specs, design renders are also being leaked.
Samsung A22 5G
The Galaxy A22 5G, will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset with a 5G modem, have a 6.4-inch LCD display with no fancy high refresh rate options. There will be 4/6GB ram and 128GB of storage. Galaxy A22 5G will feature a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging. The device is a bit thicker and heavier than its 4G counterpart at 9mm and 205g.
Camera
There will be three cameras on the back of the phone – a 48MP main one, a 5MP ultrawide and a 2MP depth.
Samsung A22 4G
Now, this phone is more likely to hit the global market as this one has slightly better specifications. This phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. The display is still a 6.4-inch but expected to be an AMOLED one with a built-in optical fingerprint scanner as there is a regular power button on the side of the phone. We also may see a 6/128GB configuration along with the same 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging. This one is 8.5mm thick and weighs 185g.
Camera
Camera-wise there’s a 13MP selfie shooter and a quad-camera on the rear – 48MP main + 5MP ultrawide + 2MP depth + 2MP macro.
Both these phones may launch in June 2021.
These will belong in the budget category and the price will surely be cheaper than other A-series smartphones. The A22 4G is the better deal in my opinion as you get almost the same specifications but get an AMOLED display. But what do you guys think? Which phone is better for you?
