The smartphone veteran company, Nokia has unveiled 6 new smartphones, the Nokia C10, C20, G20, G10, X20, and X10. These smartphones are available in the whole range from premium to budget. Here are the complete specifications and details,
Nokia G10 & G20
The Nokia G10 & G20 are essentially very similar phones in the budget range.
Specifications
The G20 comes powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 chipset. It gets 4 GB ram, storage is 64 or 128 GB. The G10 however comes with the MediaTek Helio G25 chipset, 3/4 GB of RAM, and 32/64 GB storage. Both have dedicated microSD slots and both start with Android 11. Both phones also get a 5,050 mAh battery with 10w fast charging (charger included). Both phones also have a 6.5” LCD with 720p+ resolution (20:9).
Camera
Nokia G10
This phone gets a 13MP main on the back, plus two 2MP lenses, no ultrawide, and an 8MP selfie camera. Not the greatest camera setup to be fair.
Nokia G20
This one gets a 48MP main module, combined with a 5MP ultrawide angle camera, plus a 2MP macro, and 2MP depth unit. Also an 8MP selfie camera. This clearly has a lot better camera system.
Price
The Nokia G10 will be available for €140 ($166 / PKR25,397) later this month. The Nokia G20, which is coming in May will be retailing for €160 ($190 / PKR29,025).
I don’t think anyone should buy these phones in 2021, personally, I think you can find a lot better devices in the budget range.
Nokia C10 & C20
If you don’t want good specifications on your phone, you might like this pair.
Specifications
The Nokia C20 is powered by the Unisoc SC9863a, while the C10 gets the Unisoc SC7331e. Both phones get 1GB of ram, up to 32GB of storage. Both phones also have a 3000mAh battery with 5w of fast charging.
Camera
These phones get one of the worst camera setups of any phone in 2021. With only a single 5 MP module on the back and one 5 MP module on the front. The C20 can do HDR processing.
Price
The Nokia C20 may retail for near €90 ($106 / PKR16,323) available later this month and the C10 for €75 ($89 /PKR13,602 ) coming in June.
I honestly don’t understand why Nokia is doing this? These phones in 2021? I really don’t know who will buy them.
Nokia X10 & X20
The Nokia X series has pledged full support for three years, this means three years of OS and security updates, but also a three-year warranty. This is the only one that looks interesting from the bunch. However, both phones are very similar except for the camera department.
Specifications
The Nokia X10 and X20 are both powered by the Snapdragon 480 5G chipset. The X20 gets 6/128GB and 8/128GB options. The X10 also has a 6/128GB option, plus two other 6/64GB and 4/128GB options. Both phones have 6.67” LCDs and lack any fancy stuff like a high refresh rate or even strengthened glass. You do get a pre-installed screen protector. Both phones use the same 4,470 mAh battery with 18w fast charging.
Camera
X10
The X10 gets a main 48MP sensor, complete with ZEISS optics, a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera, we also see a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The selfie camera is 8MP.
X20
The X20 gets a better camera of both, it gets a main 64MP Sensor, with ZEISS optics, rest of the lenses are the same as the X10, 5MP ultra-wide, + 2MP macro, + 2MP depth. The selfie camera however is 32MP. It does have many features in software but the video goes up to 1080p max, so don’t have high hopes.
Price
The Nokia X20 will be available in May at a price of €350 ($415 / PKR63,467). The Nokia X10 is scheduled to arrive in June with a €310 ($368 / PKR56,213 ) price tag.
These prices don’t do justice to the X series, the phones are in my opinion very expensive & I won’t suggest you buy any of them. What do you guys think about the Nokia C10, C20? Will you like to buy any of these phones in 2021? Share your thoughts.
