Xiaomi is going to have a launch event on the 29th of March, and we might have an idea of what’s coming. Xiaomi will launch the Mi 11 Youth Edition, the sleek, slim, and feature-rich budget version of the Mi 11.
Xiaomi Mi 11 Youth Edition
Yesterday, Wei Xiqi, Product Manager for Xiaomi, told us about the Mi 11 Youth Edition a little, they said that this phone is the thinnest and lightest design, the performance and power consumption will be at a high level. Xiaomi is launching this cheaper and more stylish version of the Mi 11 just like how Samsung launches the Fan Edition of their flagships. Here is whatever you need to know about the Xiaomi Mi 11 Youth Edition.
Specifications
This phone will get the Qualcomm Snapdragon 780G 5G SoC, it is the younger brother of the SD 888 but a little cheaper. It is also made using a 5nm process technology including a 2.4GHz Cortex-A78 core, three 2.2GHz Cortex-A78 cores, and four 1.9GHz Cortex-A55 cores. There will be 6/8GB ram and at least 128GB of storage. The battery is said to be a 4,500mAh cell with super-fast charging technology.
This phone is also said to be the lightest and thinnest 5G phones. Lei Jun from Xiaomi also stated that the Mi 11 Youth Edition is the thinnest and lightest Mi phone in history, so we can assume that it will be pretty thin and light.
The Mi 11 Youth Edition smartphone is expected to get a 6.55-inch AMOLED display. The display panel is expected to get a Full HD+ resolution. The AMOLED screen will also get a high refresh rate of 91Hz. The Camera capabilities are still unknown but we can expect a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP Ultra-wide, and a 5MP Macro/Depth Sensor. The triple camera setup is observed from the design renders. In the front, a 20MP selfie camera will be housed in a punch hole.

I think the Mi 11 Youth Edition will be a great device with lots of features to lure the Youth towards the phone. Xiaomi will have to use a decent price tag to compete in the midrange market.
