Realme 8 & Realme 8 Pro launched: Price & Specs

In the Realme event held earlier today, the Realme 8 and 8 Pro got revealed. These both are some great camera-centric phones with the huge 108MP sensor and other great specifications, all while being under a good price tag. Let’s dive into these phones.

Realme 8 Pro

The Realme 8 Pro is the bigger and more expensive out of the two phones. Here is what you need to know.

Realme 8 pro

The Realme 8 comes with a Snapdragon 720G SoC, 8GB RAM, 128GB of base storage. The screen is 6.4″ FHD AMOLED Display 60Hz and all of it is powered by a 4,500mAh battery with 50w fast charging support.

Realme 8 Pro gets the new Samsung ISO CELL HM2 108MP sensor. With a size of 1/1.52″ and a resolution of 12000×9000. This is a truly monstrous sensor. This sensor will also support 9 in 1 Pixel Binning to increase the quality of your photos and improve night mode shots. This will also have a smart ISO sensor that can automatically adjust the best ISO setting for the device keeping the pictures sharp and less grainy. The details on the 108MP are great so you can crop up to 10 times and still have good quality details. The secondary sensor is an 8MP ultra-wide, a 2MP monochrome sensor, and another 2MP Macro Sensor.

The device comes in 3 colors, Illuminating Yellow, Infinite Blue & Infinite Black.

The Realme 8 Pro will feature in the market for 17,999 or $250, or PKR 39,000 for the 6/128, and for 8/128 it will be 19,999 or $275, or PKR 43,000 . This will also launch in the UK, the 8/128 GB model will sell for £280.

Realme 8

The Realme 8 is the smaller in the group, it is also a little cheaper without some bells and whistles of the 8 Pro.

The Realme 8 is powered by the Helio G95 SoC, paired with an 8GB ram, 128GB storage, and a 5000mAh battery with 30w fast charging support. The screen is a 6.4″ AMOLED Display.

The Realme 8 also has a Quad-Camera setup on the back, with the main 64MP, an 8MP Ultra Wide, a 2MP Macro, and a 2MP B/W lens. There are many features that this phone shares with the 8 Pro like the Starry Mode, Night Mode, etc.

This phone will retail for 14,999 or $200, or PKR 32,000 for the 4/128 variant, and the 6/128 will go for 15,999, or $220, or PKR 34,300 while the 8/128 will go for 16,999, or $230, or PKR 36,000.

I think both phones are pretty decent, while they are a little bit camera-focused, for the price they are absolute monsters.
