OnePlus 9 Series Launched: Complete Specifications, Features & Pricing

OnePlus 9 series has finally launched and the event was a heck of a deal, here is the complete breakdown of the OnePlus 9 launch event. Two phones were launched in the global event, while an extra phone the OnePlus 9r was launched for India. Below is the complete information regarding the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro.

OnePlus 9 Pro

The OnePlus 9 Pro is the new flagship from the OnePlus. They are collaborating with Hasselblad to make the camera better, so let’s talk about that first.

OnePlus 9 Series


The Hasselblad collaboration has really done wonders for the company and the phone. They have brought a very precise color on the phone’s camera thanks to them. The Ultra-Wide is a 50MP which is 320% larger than any normal sensor on any smartphone, then there is a main 48MP Sony IMX789 sensor which is also a larger sensor. We also see a 3.3X 8MP Telephoto and a 2MP monochrome sensor. The Ultra-wide also doubles as a macro camera. This phone can record videos at up to 4K 120fps and at 8K 30fps. OnePlus also tells us that they have spent over $150 Million in this partnership with Hasselblad.


The OnePlus 9 Pro gets the Snapdragon 888, with 12GB RAM and 128GB as the base storage options. The phone has a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED top-left punch-hole LTPO display, with a 120Hz refresh rate. We also see a dual-cell 4500mAh battery with 65W fast charging.


Morning Mist, Pine Green


The phone is retailing for a price of $969 USD (PKR 150,921). This device will also be available for pre-order on March 26, 2021, with a sale date of April 2, 2021. Morning Mist and Pine Green colors with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage for a starting price of $1069 USD (PKR 166,496).

OnePlus 9 Series

The OnePlus 9 is the little brother to the 9 Pro with some features missing. But still, it is a flagship phone. It misses out on fancy features like curved glass as well it lacks the telephoto lens.


This has a triple camera setup with a 48MP main lens, a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP depth sensor. This also is a collaboration with Hasselblad.


OnePlus 9 also gets the Snapdragon 888, with 8/12GB RAM and 128GB of base storage. It has a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED punch-hole display, with a 120Hz refresh rate. The battery is also the same 4,500mAh with 65w fast charging.


The OnePlus 9 will be available in Astral Black, Arctic Sky, and Winter Mist.


The 8GB RAM/128GB internal storage version will cost you around $729 USD. The 12GB RAM/256GB internal storage size version (only in Astral Black) will be available for around $829 USD. (PKR 129,272)
