OnePlus 9 Series – What to expect
The series will launch with 3 models, the OnePlus 9, the OnePlus 9pro, and the OnePlus 9E/R. This time OnePlus has got in a collaboration with Hasselblad to improve the camera systems for their OnePlus 9 Series. Let’s take a look at the expected specs, features, and prices of the OnePlus 9 devices ahead of launch.
Expected Specifications
The OnePlus 9 Pro will most likely get the Snapdragon 888, with 12GB RAM and 128GB as the base storage options. The phone is said to have a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED top-left punch-hole LTPO display, with a 120Hz refresh rate. In the camera department, we might see a Quad-camera setup with 48MP Sony IMX789 as the main lens, 50MP ultra-wide, 8MP Telephoto, and a 5MP macro. It will also record videos at 4K 120fps in 12bit RAW. We will see a dual-cell 4500mAh battery with 65W fast charging.
OnePlus 9 will also get the Snapdragon 888, with 8GB RAM and 128GB of base storage. It will have a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED punch-hole display, with a 120Hz refresh rate. This will have a triple camera setup with a 48MP main lens, a 16MP ultra-wide, and a 2MP macro sensor. It will also reportedly have the same 4500mAh battery with 65W fast charging.
3C Certification – Dual Battery Cells
The OnePlus 9 will be getting dual Battery cells to support faster charging as confirmed by the image from 3C certifications. Dual Battery Cells means that the devices will have 2 batteries inside them combining for that 4500mAh capacity so that both cells charge up at the same time with faster speed and efficiency.
Expected Price and availability
These devices are expected to go over the 700$ price bracket. The Pro model is expected to start from 800$ while the vanilla OnePlus 9 is expected to be around 750$.
These phones will launch globally on the 23rd of March.
