Huawei P40 4G launched: Mixed Reactions

A new addition to the Huawei P40 family! The Huawei P40 has grown a lot with more than 6 phones under the name. People have had mixed feelings about each phone. Some phones really banged while others never really took off. Today we will see how the P40 4G stacks up.

Huawei P40 4G, does it matter?

In this time when every phone that comes out has to brag about 5G, this phone has launched with 4G in its name. But does it really matter, like if you see the coverage of 5G it’s very less and very far away and most people don’t have access to it so should we really make it a negative against this phone? I think not.

The Huawei P40 4G comes with an OLED panel of 6.1 inches that has FHD+ resolution. It supports a refresh rate of 60Hz. The body of the phone measures 148.9 x 71.06 x 8.5mm and it weighs 175 grams. It is equipped with an in-screen fingerprint scanner and face unlock. The Huawei P40 4G is an IP53 rated device. The phone is powered by the Kirin 990 4G with a battery capacity of 3800mAh, with 22.5W fast charging. Huawei P40 4G has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. For more storage, it has an NM card slot.

The rear camera setup of the P40 4G has a 50-megapixel SuperSensing primary camera, a 16-megapixel ultrawide lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto with OIS support along with 30x digital zoom.
The front camera is in a pill-shaped hole-punch with 32-megapixel dual sensors.

Comparision to P40 5G

The only difference between the two phones is 5G. The P40 5G has a 5G chipset while the P40 4G has a 4G chipset.

The Huawei P40 4G is priced at 3,988 yuan ($525) about $77 cheaper than its 5G brother.

What do you think of this phone? Will you ever use Huawei even without GMS?
