Rumors suggest that the Apple Airpods 3 will be having the same similar look as the high-end wireless earphones, the AirPods Pro. And will supposedly cost way less. Early rumors from media known as The Elec seems confident that the 3rd Gen AirPods will be announced and be arriving in March of 2021. As for now none of the Leakers such as Jon Prosser or L0veToDream had said anything about it being released in the March event. (Do Keep These Rumours With A Pinch Of Salt).
The key difference being that the AirPods 3 will not as any sort of ANC (Active Noise Cancelation) and Transparency Mode, however it will have a Spatial Audio feature instead, similar to AirPods Pro and Airpods Max. So far testing for Audio Quality and its features have already started months ago and might soon get into mass production within the upcoming weeks.
Leaks also do suggest that the AirPods 3 will be using the same Apple H1 Chipset (same as the Airpods Pro) for more efficiency and improvements and a new System in Package (SiP) enclosure. New Rumours from China also suggest that the new generation AirPods will be cheaper than its previous one and will cost around 149$ or 199$.
The third-generation AirPods will feature a half-in-ear design to provide users with be a better quality music playback and better fit. The AirPods 3 will come with replaceable ear tips similar to the AirPods Pro. The Charging Case will be quite smaller and also will have support for wireless charging.
But with all these rumours, it’s pretty certain that we can expect the next generation of AirPods very soon and hopefully will be cheaper and better. Hopefully, Apple will do announce its March Event and its sweet next-gen products including the AirPods.
