The A51 and A71 of Samsung A series in 2020 was hugely popular and in-demand in several regions around the globe due to its pricing and being a phone from Samsung. A year has passed and Samsung is further close to launching its Successors the A52 and A72.
Design
Both the A52 and A72 are very similar to each other. The only difference will be the size of the phone. Apart from the top all the way to the bottom, it is very same. Even the Camera Bump as well, the back material should be made with plastic, which makes it clear that it will not have wireless charging capabilities. ( Do keep in mind that so far these are rumours and are not confirmed specifications, the renders are all true though).
5G Capabilities
The A52 and A72 will have two different models each. Meaning that there will be also an A52 5G and A72 5G models with different chipsets upcoming along with the base 4G models, similar to their predecessors from last year.
Display
Both will be supporting a 1080p FHD+ Samsung AMOLED Display, rumours suggest the 5G phones will have a higher refresh rate display up to to 90 Hz (quite possibly 120 Hz). While the 4G versions will be having default 60Hz or even 90Hz to gain a competitive advantage in its price segment. And will have a fingerprint sensor under the display.
Internal Specifications
Starting with the Galaxy A52 4G, it will be powered with Snapdragon 720G, while the A52 5G will have Snapdragon 750G SoC onboard. As for the A72, we have no rumours on what chipset specifically it will be using but can speculate possibly that the A72 4G will use Snapdragon 730, while the A72 5G may use the Snapdragon 765G. Both A52 and A72 4G/5G will be having a configuration of 6/8 GB RAM with a UFS 2.1 base storage of 128 GB all the way up to 256GB.
Cameras
As for the camera both the A52 and A72 will hold similar Quad Cam setup and sensors. The A52 will be having a 48 or 64MP (Main Camera), 12MP (Ultrawide), 5MP(Macro) and 2MP (Depth) sensor. As for the A72, we assume it will have a similar camera setup but with an improved version. Rumours also suggest that Samsung might implement its first-ever Penta camera setup onboard over the A72
OthersSensor
Both variants of the A52 and A72 will have a Headphone jack, IP 67 rating, dual sim support Bluetooth 5.x, NFC Tag and will support 15W and 25W wired charging respectively, powering the 4,500 MaH battery jam-packed within these two. As for the colours, both will have 4 colour variants, starting from Black, Purple, Light Blue and White.
Pricing
We have rumours suggesting that the Samsung Galaxy A52 4G will cost around €349/420$, while the A52 5G will cost €429/520$ in some parts of Europe. As for the A72 4G, it will cost around €449/545$ and A72 5G costing around €529/640$, which seems to be perfect considering it has jam-packed Samsung features and around 3 years of software support in such price segment.
