Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy S21 lineup. We have three new phones including: Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra. Below you will find the complete details of Galaxy S21 lineup including the specifications, features and pricing.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Specifications
The vanilla S21 is the cheapest of all the three. The display of S21 is pretty similar to the Plus model. The Galaxy S21 comes with a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 2400×1080 (421ppi) FHD+. It has an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. Do note that, it is a flat panel unlike curved on the Ultra model. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
Coming to the camera, you are getting three sensors on the vanilla S21. There is a 12-megapixel wide, 12-megapixel ultra-wide and lastly a 64-megapixel telephoto lens. On the front, there is a 10-megapixel sensor for selfies.
The smartphone is powered by the Exynos 2100 which is a brand new chip from Samsung. You can read more about Exynos 2100 on my previous article. There is a 4000mAH battery on the S21 that can supports 25W Super Fast Charging. It also supports 15W Super Wireless Charging and Wireless Power Share.
There is 8GB RAM on the S21 and storage options of 128GB & 256GB. Other notable features include Stereo Speakers by AKG Dolby Atmos, IP68 Rating, 5G and Wi-Fi 6 support. The smartphone has a weight of just 171 grams. The color options for the Galaxy S21 are Phantom White, Phantom Grey, Phantom Pink and Phantom Violet.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus Specifications
The S21 Plus is a small step up from the vanilla S21. But it offers a better build quality as well as minor improvements in battery, display size, and camera. To begin with, it comes with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 2400×1080 FHD+ (394ppi). It has an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz. It also features a flat display and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus like the vanilla S21.
The camera on S21 Plus is the same that is used on the S21. We will get a 2-megapixel wide, 12-megapixel ultra-wide, and a 64-megapixel telephoto lens. While there is a 10-megapixel front-facing shooter. There is the same Exynos 2100 processor. Although, the S21 Plus has a bigger 4800mAH battery supporting supports 25W Super Fast Charging. It also supports 15W Super Wireless Charging and Wireless Power Share.
S21 Plus features 8GB RAM with the option of 128GB or 256GB internal storage. Like the S21, its features include Stereo Speakers by AKG Dolby Atmos, IP68 Rating, 5G, Wi-Fi 6 support, and UWB Tracking. The smartphone has a weight of just 202 grams. The color options for the Galaxy S21 are Phantom Violet, Phantom Silver & Phantom Black.
Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra Specifications
The star of the lineup is S21 Ultra. It is huge, powerful and expensive. There is a display of 6.8-inch Dyanmic AMOLED 2X with a resolution of 3200×1400 WQHD+ (515ppi). It is also having an adaptive refresh rate of 120Hz and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
There is a quad camera setup on the S21 Ultra led by a 108-megapixel wide, 12-megapixel ultra-wide, 10-megapixel telephoto, and an additional 10-megapixel telephoto. There is also a Laser AF Time-of-flight for better photography. On the front, you will get a 40-megapixel selfie shooter.
It is powered by the same Exynos 2100 found on other two models. Although, it is having the largest 5000mAH battery. The charging speed is similar: 25W Super Fast Charging, 15W Super Fast Wireless Charging and Wireless Power Share. You get an option of either 12GB RAM or 16GB RAM with 128GB, 256GB or 512GB internal storage options.
It also features S-Pen support, Stereo Speakers by AKG Dolby Atmos, IP68 Rating, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E support, and UWB Tracking. The smartphone has a weight of 228 grams. The color options for the Galaxy S21 Ultra includes Phantom Black and Phantom Silver.
Pricing
The 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage variant starts at $799. For the S21 Plus, the 8GB RAM with 128GB internal storage variant starts at $999. While the S21 Ultra with 12GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at $1199.The S21 lineup will be available to buy starting from January 29th.
