Vivo smartphones comes with their own custom user-interface or popularly known as FunTouch OS. The skin top based on Android comes with a variety of customization options and features which aren’t available in stock Android. Now, vivo is taking a step further and launching a brand new custom user-interface called vivo Origin OS.
Origin OS – A step in the right direction?

We got some hints earlier this week and now we got some teaser images of the OS on WeChat. The screenshots doesn’t reveal much. But we hope this new user-interface is closer to Stock Android. FunTouch OS was not the best when custom interface were concerned. In a comparison, ColorOS offers closer to Android with better animations.
Talking about the launch date of the Origin OS, it will be unveiled at vivo’s developer conference. The conference will revolve around the new updates regarding software and even new phones by vivo. It will take place on November 19th. Talking about the expected devices, we can expect the Vivo X60 series to get announced.
Vivo X60 lineup also coming

The X60 lineup by vivo will include several smartphones. One of them is the Vivo X60s 5G. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 765G. The smartphone will rock 33W fast charging support. The highlight of X60 lineup will remain it’s camera. And it will be taking its DNA from the X50 that came with gimble stabilization. We will keep you updated whenever the X60 lineup and the Origin OS is released.
