LG To Launch A Phone With Extendable Display

Yesterday, LG announced its new product: LG Wing. The LG Wing is a different kind of phone, never seen before. There are two displays of the LG Wing, one which rotates clockwise, orienting the 6.8″ P-OLED Main Screen in landscape mode to reveal a 3.9″ Secondary Screen. Now, LG has no plans to stop. LG has teased yet another phone, now with a phone with an extendable display.

LG’s extendable display phone has a single display. It can be extended, by pulling out the chin. It will make this LG extendable display phone have great portability. When you are watching movies or playing games you can extend the display. However, when you want to use the phone single-handed then you can retract it.

LG has been teasing this phone in the launch event as-well. In the launch event, they mentioned to “hold your breath.” And this phone, in my opinion, is again bizarre! Even though we have seen phones like Galaxy Fold, Moto Razr but the LG Wing is in a league of its own. And now the LG extendable display phone is yet another bolt from the blue.

Talking about the launch date of this strange phone, it will probably be sometime in 2021. Rumors are it will be sporting LG’s roll-able display technology. LG has a lot of perks since they are known for manufacturing the OLED panels. With these kinds of unusual new designs, LG might get revived and get their throne back.

What are your thoughts on these unusual smartphone designs? Do you like a phone with such capabilities? Or would you like to stick to a usual one display phone? Let us know in the comments section. Personally, I like innovation. Yes, they are just new in the market and will get better with time. But I think it’s better than seeing the same kind of phone again and again.
