    Zong Is Number One Operator in Pakistan, Says Opensignal’s Report

    OpenSignal has ranked “Zong” as the number one operator in Pakistan. Zong is a popular network operator in Pakistan and was one of the first ones to bring 4G to Pakistan. They are popular for providing fast internet speeds as well as their portable Wi-Fi devices.

    According to Opensignal’s Network Experience report, Zong was able to capture 5 areas in the network. Zong conquered Video Experience, Download Speed Experience, Upload Speed Experience, 4G Availability, and 4G Coverage Experience.

    While the other two services were conquered by Ufone. Including Games Experience and Voice App Experience. However, no other network operator won any title. However, according to Opensignal, they inspected each of the networks for 90 days.

    Best Speeds, Coverage, and Experience?

    The first title won by Zong is Video Experience. This suggests that Zong provides the best video experience in Pakistan. You will face less buffering will watching videos on Zong as compared to other networks.

    The second title is Download Speed Experience. Zong provides much more speed than its competitors, according to Opensignal. Usually, a network provides higher download speeds but lacks on uploading speed. However, the case is different here. Zong has also won the Upload Speed Experience. According to Opensignal, Zong puts a lead on uploading as well giving 4.5 Mbps upload speed.

    The next titles won by Zong are 4G Availability and 4G Coverage Experience. And yes, Zong really pushed 4G when it wasn’t available in the country. According to the report, Zong provides stability as well as good coverage in the 4G network.

    This is not the first time Zong has won a title. They were also greeted by No.1 Operator in Voice & Data Services’ by the Pakistan Telecommunications Authority (PTA). Moreover, the company is also experimenting with 5G.
