When we buy an iPhone, there is no question of the OS update support that we will get. However, the case is opposite in buying an Android device. One of the world’s biggest smartphone manufacturer, Samsung is no different. They are known for providing the slowest OS updates. However, Samsung has now announced a 3 Android OS update guarantee for its flagship and A series of smartphones.
Previously, Samsung used to provide just 2 Android updates for its flagship-level device. It resulted in controversies. Just a month ago, TechBoiler posted on iPhone 6S getting the latest iOS 14 updates while Samsung Galaxy S7 from the same year haven’t got any update from 2 years. This post got viral in social media and got a lot of fans upset on the lack of support on Samsung’s flagship series. And now Samsung has learned from its mistakes and is ready to fix this issue.

Earlier this month, Samsung announced to provide 3 major Android updates support for the latest flagship series in the Unpacked event. Including Galaxy S, Galaxy Note, Galaxy Z, and Galaxy Tab S series. Now, they have announced the 3 Android OS updates for their mid-range Galaxy A series.
It was a surprise to see the mid-range A series getting Samsung’s attention. Now you can relax and buy a Samsung mid-range device without the fear of losing support. However, not all A series of smartphones are included in the three-generation of Android updates.
Below is the list of all the Samsung Galaxy devices eligible for getting the 3 Android OS updates.
