Today’s news on iPhone 12 series by analyst Daniel Ives and Jon Possessor. The top tech analysts and leaksters are speculating a 4G version of the next-gen iPhone.
As you know, even though we have started getting 5G powered smartphones, we are still lacking the connectivity by ISPs. And who knows how much time it would take. For those countries, iPhone is speculated to launch LTE versions of the lineup. According to the analyst, there will be LTE versions and 5G versions of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Max. The price for iPhone 12 LTE will be $549 while the iPhone 12 Max LTE will rock a $649 price tag. He also mentions his analysis of 5G powered phones which will be priced at $649 and $749 respectively.
So at the loss of 5G, you can get iPhone 12 Max at $649, but if you insist to go with 5G then it will be $749. But the loss isn’t just of 5G. According to analyst Jun Zhang, you might have to compromise on the display with 4G models as well. He says that the LTE versions might come with an LCD display.

For now, there are multiple leaks regarding the iPhone 12 series. First, there will be four models: iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Max, iPhone 12 Pro, and iPhone 12 Pro Max. Including the 10-bit color depth and 120 Hz refresh rate on the Pro devices. While the iPhone 12 series will keep the earlier design with the notch in the middle. On the camera side, we can expect a dual camera setup on base models while the Pro models are expected to get a triple camera setup. And the devices will be powered by A14 chipset.
In the end, I will just say, if Apple launches the LTE versions of the lineup, it will give the consumers more options.
