Redmi 9 Launched in Pakistan & China With Powerful Specifications & Pricing

    Xiaomi’s number series lineup is a budget-oriented lineup. The latest one to launch today is Redmi 9, the smartphone is now available in the neighboring countries including Pakistan and China. The good thing is that Xiaomi is taking the Pakistani market very seriously. Redmi 9 launched on the same date in both countries, which is really awesome. The Redmi 9 comes with powerful specifications, but do the specs justify the price? Let’s check out the specifications first before moving to the pricing.

    Redmi 9 Specifications:

    Starting from the display, Redmi 9 boasts a 6.53-inch IPS LCD panel with Dot Drop notch. The display comes with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and boasts an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Moving to the camera segment, the Redmi 9 features a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens with 118-degree field-of-view, a 5-megapixel macro lens for closeup shots and a 2-megapixel additional shooter for depth effect.     Redmi 9 Chinese VS Redmi 9 Global

    There are some differences between Redmi 9 Chinese variant and the global variant which is launched in Pakistan. First of all, the Redmi 9 Chinese comes with dual-band Wi-Fi of 2.2 GHz and 5 GHz while the one launched globally comes with 2.4 GHz single band. Secondly, Redmi 9 Globally comes with MIUI 11 while the Chinese version comes with MIUI 12 out of the box.

    Redmi 9 comes in three variants in China: 4GB RAM/64GB internal, 4GB RAM/128GB internal, and 6GB RAM/128GB Internal. They are priced at ¥799 ($113), ¥999 ($141), and ¥1199 ($170) respectively. In China, the device comes in 4 different color options.

    On the other hand, Pakistan has received only one variant as of now. The variant that has arrived in Pakistan comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage and is priced at Rs.27,499 ($163).
