Xiaomi Redmi series consists majorly of 2 lineup – the Note lineup which has mid-range and upper-midrange smartphones and a number lineup consisting of budget-oriented smartphones. Last year we saw Redmi 8, Redmi 8A, and also Redmi 8A Pro in some regions. This time, we will be getting Redmi 9, 9A, and Redmi 9C.
The Redmi 9 lineup is on its way to global markets and will be getting an announcement sometime next week. But thanks to a Philippines retailer we now have the complete information regarding pricing, specifications, and design of Xiaomi Redmi 9.

For the people living in the Philippines, they can get the device priced at 6,990 Peso and 7,490 Peso respectively. Whereas, for the global launch we can expect a very aggressive pricing of under $200. For my Pakistani brothers and their sisters reading this, we can expect this phone to be priced between Rs.26000 to Rs.30000. While the phone can be priced in the range of Rs. 13,499 for the Indian market.
First of all, I want you to know what my primary phone aka Note 8 Pro has to say. My Redmi Note 8 Pro is feeling sad, “A budget phone will be stealing my signature design, so sad!”
Anyways jokes apart, I can see the capability the Redmi 9 will have. The phone actually is very similar to Redmi Note 9 but will provide more value.
